A couple of years ago this Hummingbird
video won first place in Birds and Bloom Video Contest.
The sound you here in the video is the
actual sound of the hummingbirds chirping and flapping of their wings.
It seems that one of the feeders are empty all the time. So I have to make
plans to fill all of them before I leave home each day.
In the spring hummingbirds will arrive slowly, first maybe one or two then more
will show up. Don't give up if you just see one for a while,
I have some
red and yellow yard decorations I make sure I put near the feeder. I start
with one and when I see a couple more I add another feeder. They must know
they have plenty of food or they will start looking for another feeding place.
You won't see as many when they nest as before and after, but keep the feeders
out and full.
